About You

The Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for the meticulous evaluation of Lugano’s software quality by conducting both manual and automated testing. Your proficiency in executing test cases and a strong dedication to ensuring high quality are essential qualities that will determine success in this role. The primary duties of this position will involve identifying and documenting bugs and inconsistencies. Ultimately, you will play a crucial role in guaranteeing the functionality and reliability of our products, applications, and systems.   

 What You Will Do 

  •  Reviews and comprehensively analyzes system specifications to understand project requirements thoroughly. 
  • Collaborates closely with Engineers to devise efficient strategies and meticulously crafted test plans. 
  • Methodically executes test cases, utilizing both manual and automated testing techniques, and meticulously analyzes resulting outcomes. 
  • Conducts rigorous evaluations of product code to ensure alignment with specified requirements and standards. 
  • Generates detailed logs to meticulously document testing phases and any detected defects or discrepancies. 
  • Performs prompt reporting of identified bugs and errors to development teams, facilitating efficient resolution. 
  • Provides valuable assistance in troubleshooting issues as they arise, contributing to swift and effective problem resolution. 
  • Conducts thorough post-release and post-implementation testing to verify product stability and functionality. 
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to uphold and promote quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle. 

 What You Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in technical principles and practices relevant to quality assurance testing. 
  • Demonstrated experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or proven history of success in a similar capacity, showcasing proficiency in testing methodology and practices.   
  • Competence in project management and familiarity with Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies, ensuring effective project execution and adherence to quality standards. 
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks and experience with regression testing is advantageous, enhancing adaptability and efficiency within the testing process.   
  • Ability to meticulously document and troubleshoot errors, facilitating thorough analysis and resolution of issues as they arise. 
  • Proficient in using test management software and familiarity with SQL, enabling effective test planning and execution.   
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating clear and concise communication with team members and stakeholders. 
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in testing processes and documentation. 
  • Possession of an analytical mindset and adept problem-solving skills, enabling effective identification and resolution of complex issues. 
  • Excellent organizational skills, enabling efficient management of tasks, priorities, and deadlines within a dynamic testing environment. 

Pay Transparency 

Targeted base compensation is $75,000 plus annual bonus. The total compensation package is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Our workplace is clean, orderly, appropriately lighted and ventilated with the proper safety compliance. Noise levels are considered low and daily physical activities are considered light: office work, seldom lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, stooping, kneeling, or walking. Employees must have the stamina to work long hours if assigned. Hours and days of work may vary by position.
