About You

You are a detail-oriented and resourceful thinker who is highly skilled in financial forecasting. As the FP&A Manager here at Lugano, you will play a crucial role in driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes to support strategic decision-making and ensure the financial health and continued growth of Lugano’s luxury retail business.

Reporting to the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in creating and growing the FP&A function of the company, providing precise budgets and forecasting to drive informed decision-making and strategic initiatives across multiple departments. What You Will Do

  • Develop annual and multi-year budget and forecast models that allow for multiple scenarios and sensitivities to key financial drivers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain detailed financial models, variance analyses, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning and decision-making processes
  • Analyze financial performance, including sales trends, profitability, and expenses, to identify key drivers and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with accounting team to create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, variance analysis, and KPI dashboards for management review
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements of the company to optimize resource allocation and capital ROI
  • Work with operating teams to assess opportunities to improve and streamline
  • Assist in the preparation of board presentations and analyses
  • Support year-end audit requirements

What You Bring

  • Deep experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a retail environment
  • Strong analytical skills with proven history of providing precise forecasting and financial modeling
  • Expert level proficiency with financial analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, etc.
  • Resourcefulness and ability adapt to different and quickly evolving environments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to closely collaborate with operating teams and became a value-add partner
  • Ability to distill complex financial information into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for accuracy and continuous improvement
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

Pay Transparency

Targeted base compensation is $140,000 plus annual bonus. The total compensation package is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Our Work Environment 

Our workplace is clean, orderly, appropriately lighted and ventilated with the proper safety compliance. Noise levels are considered low and daily physical activities are considered light: office work, seldom lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, stooping, kneeling, or walking.
