Marking a new venture for Lugano, London serves as an emerging market under the leadership of Katherine Roach, Managing Director for the brand in the UK and EMEA. Katherine is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience who has made significant contributions to the world of luxury brands for more
than two decades.

Katherine began her luxury journey at Burberry, where she honed her skills in Marketing and Communications at the company’s global HQ in London. She then transitioned to Harry Winston, assuming the position of UK Marketing and PR manager, before advancing to the role of Global Chief Marketing Office at Graff Diamonds, a tenure which she held for a decade . Following her corporate experience, Katherine then established a successful consultancy, supporting the growth of luxury brands across diverse sectors as contemporary art, interiors, private aviation and jewelry.

Katherine holds a BSc in Management Studies with Applied Biology from the University of Leeds, UK, which, along with Gemology studied at the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, showcases a unique blend of business acumen with a scientific background.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Katherine is an avid supporter of Teenage Cancer Trust. She recently sat on the committee for the Ultimate Series event at Abbey Road. Her philanthropic endeavors extend to actively supporting the Pebbles Project in South Africa, Cancer Research in the UK, and UNICEF. Passionate about empowering young people, Katherine dedicates herself to initiatives that inspire and cultivate skills in younger generations to help them flourish in their careers.

Outside of work, Katherine finds joy in London’s indoor rock-climbing walls, spending time at the gym and outside on riverside runs. Embodying her personal motto, “Be open to inspiration and enjoy every day,” Katherine brings a refreshing perspective to both her professional and personal life.

Given the choice to live anywhere in the world, Katherine’s heart finds solace in the many times she has visited Thailand. “It’s a beautiful piece of paradise and a little house on the beach would be a perfect place to live.”
