St. Margaret’s Episcopal School, located in San Juan Capistrano, California, celebrated their 40th Annual Library Luncheon on Friday, April 22. This also marked the twelfth year of Lugano’s support of the school. The event hosted a record-breaking 450 guests with over 50 table hostesses and co-hostesses. The theme was HERstory, which featured tables decorated to give homage to female artists, authors, and literary heroines. Lugano Diamonds sponsored a table, with the proceeds being donated back to the school and used for the Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) Annual Grant Program.
Lugano’s gravity-defying tablescape was inspired by Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo. The table was adorned overhead with a vibrantly-colored, large-scale, suspended floral installation as a nod to Kahlo’s signature flower crowns. Other tables were ornamented to celebrate authors Judy Blume and Agatha Christie, while other tables were decorated to represent favorites like The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Eloise at the Plaza, and The Devil Wears Prada.
St. Margaret’s offered participation in a silent auction, as well as access to the Library Luncheon boutique. Attendees could browse generously donated luxury items or purchase tickets to win a pair of 18k rose gold, diamond hoop earrings provided by Lugano Diamonds.
