About You
You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of Lugano’s financial information. You have a proven professional history of being responsible for monthly end close entries and daily accounts payable review functions. You thrive collaborating with various departments and excel at optimizing financial processes. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will leverage your hands on approach and demonstrate your flexibility in Lugano’s change-oriented environment.
What You Will Do
- Communicate with multi locations on the payment and approval process
- Daily review and response of vendor emails and communications
- Setup new vendors in NetSuite accounting software
- Ongoing maintenance of the vendor master data files
- Process electronic payments
- Prepare month-end journal entries with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Annual 1099 filings
- Create standard operating procedures for work functions
- Streamline accounting processes and leverage technology to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance productivity
- Cross train with other team members and assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
What You Bring
- You have a degree in accounting or finance
- You have proven experience in a staff accountant and/or accounts payable role
- You are dedicated to driving and achieving results
- A deep understanding of ERP systems; NetSuite is a plus
- You have solid Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Innate ability to compile, analyze and interpret financial data
- You have knowledge of US GAAP
- Your organizational skills are solid with exceptional attention to detail
- You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Pay Transparency
The targeted base compensation is $75,000 - $80,000, plus annual bonus. The total compensation package is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Our workplace is clean, orderly, appropriately lighted and ventilated with the proper safety compliance. Noise levels are considered low and daily physical activities are considered light: office work, seldom lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, stooping, kneeling, or walking.
